Zakah on the land in commonage intended for trade


A2: If the land in commonage is prepared for trade, Zakah is due on it, each partner according to his share. If a partner has no money at the present time to pay the due Zakah, it is regarded as a debt which he has to pay whenever he can. If the land is not prepared for trade, no Zakah is due on it. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
