Does the ruling on wearing iron apply to wearing watches?

Q 3: Does the ruling of prohibiting wearing iron apply to wearing watches?

A: This ruling does not apply to wearing watches because they are not worn for the purpose of adornment. In addition, there is a great benefit derived from wearing them. It is worth mentioning that swords and weapons are made of iron and there is no harm in using them because there is a need for them.May Allah grant us success.
