Dedicating an amount as Waqf to be paid after death
Is it permissible to take some money from the legacy of someone in order to spend on his behalf?
The legacy of the deceased should be distributed as follows: Any debts are to be paid, then his will is to be executed if there is any, and the rest should be distributed between the heirs according to the legal way of inheritance. If one of the heirs wants to give something as charity on behalf of the deceased, this is a good act and may the reward of Allah be for the deceased! (Part No. 16; Page No. 470) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
