Are Salah and Hajj offered by a woman who displays her beauty valid?

Q 2: Some women leave their houses while dressed immodestly in violation of the Islamic dress code and others go out wearing such clothes under an `Aba'ah (a loose outer garment). Are their Salah (Prayer) and Hajj valid?

A: It is impermissible for a woman to leave her house to perform Hajj or to any place while wearing immodest clothes. (Part No. 17; Page No. 219) Moreover, it is impermissible for her to leave her house while she is displaying her beauty which she should not show except to her Mahrams (spouse or unmarriageable relative). However, it is permissible for her to go out wearing such clothes if she wears an `Aba'ah that covers them. Her Salah and Hajj will be valid provided that she performs their pillars, conditions and obligations perfectly and does not commit any of their prohibitions. Displaying her beauty does not invalidate her Salah or Hajj for she will be rewarded for her good deeds and will be punished for her bad deeds. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
