My father is a guardian and
he only spends money on necessary things for the orphans. However, he refuses to give them money to spend on things that he believes are unnecessary; such as, buying a gift or giving money to a relative. Is it permissible for me to give them money without my father's knowledge? The things they want might be considered unnecessary but they are important to let the child cope with the society in which he lives. Is it permissible for me to give them money without my father's knowledge as he will refuse if he knows?
It is not permissible for you to dispose of any of the orphan's money as this (Part No. 14; Page No. 246) is your father's duty as he is the guardian. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
