Going to soothsayers to identify a thief


A: It is not permissible to go to him because he is a soothsayer. It is authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prohibited going to soothsayers and their like to ask them anything or believe in them.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
