Among the conditions of the obligation of Jumu`ah Prayer on Muslims is residence.

A: In the above mentioned case, the Jumu`ah Prayer is invalid because among the conditions of its obligation on Muslims is residence. As you are not settled in the place, the Jumu`ah Prayer is not obligatory upon you nor is it valid except if there is a nearby town in which it is established and you observe it with the congregation. In this case (Part No. 7; Page No. 65) it suffices you to offer Zhuhr Prayer. This is because you will then be following the rules applied to the congregation in the town in this regard.
