A woman in charge of a nursery in which she has Khulwah with non-Mahrams

A: It is prohibited for a woman to have Khulwah with a man who does not belong to the category of Mahram (spouse or permanently unmarriageable relative). This is based on the Hadith in which the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “No man should be alone with a woman, for Satan becomes the third (of them).” (Related by Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhy, and others) Accordingly, it is not permissible for you to hold meetings with male parents of the children or male officials at the nursery.
